Beautiful in appearance, large grains and clear whiteness. Rising, soft and fresh fragrance. Moderate chewiness, tingling, and deep sweetness that fills the mouth. To enjoy the finest Japanese rice Step 1: Measure:  Level off the rice in a cup and move to a deep bowl. Step 2: Rinsing the rice quickly: Ensure that you pour out the first water quickly in order to remove the rice bran and dust from the rice’s surface. Step 3: Washing the rice: Gently wash the rice while stirring it by hand with the water drained. Repeat this about two to three times until the water is clear. Step 4: Presoak the rice: Soak in water for at least 30 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the water (the rice will taste better if you do this step) Step 5: Cooking the rice: If you have a rice cooker, please turn it on. If not use a pot instead, use the following steps. 1) Generally rice is cooked at a 1:1 ratio of 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water. Measure and add to a pot 2) Put a lid on the pot and start cooking it over medium heat. 3) After it begins to boil, keep boiling it for two minutes. 4) Lower the heat a little and boil it for three additional minutes. 5) Turn the heat to low and boil it for an additional five to seven minutes. 6) Turn off the heat, leaving the lid on, and allow the rice to steam for 5 to 10 minutes 7) Stir the rice from the bottom of the pot upwards. This allows the rice to cold air, let's some vapor from the rice's surface. 8) if using for Sushi or a Poké Bowl.. season the rice with Rice Vinegar and enjoy Sourced from the rice factory, a small independent curator in Scarsdale, NewYork of high quality japanese rice and food products Operating with strict quality controls where every product is selected and tested to ensure origin, free of pesticides and highest quality. - Skilled rice appraisers very origin, taste, aroma, stickiness and luster - Temperature control ensures highest quality product at time of delivery - Experts mill rise just prior to shipping - All products are additive-free and come directly from Japan |
